The end of June marked a year from the beginning of the marketing of foreign mutual funds of Sanpaolo International Fund through Banka Koper. The interest for these funds in this period was above expectations. The inflows into the funds rose most sharply in the beginning of 2006 when the Bank widened its offer by twelve new funds. Consequently, it is now possible to invest into 21 foreign mutual funds through Banka Koper.
The total annual inflow into these funds amounted to 15 Mio euros with the largest share of investments paid into equity funds. Within the structure of equity funds the investors have shown the largest interest for the funds of the so called fast growing markets such as Latin America, China and others.
